Our van is sign written and fully equipped to handle any pet care situation, we have fixed secure cages to safely transport small to medium dogs to favourite walks, vets or anywhere else they may like to go. We also have fixed leads and harnesses to secure larger breeds un-caged, our cages have nice soft cushions for comfort and we also have ramps for older dogs so that they don't have to jump in and out of the van. The van is fairly low and easier for dogs to get in and out of rather than a car, it also gives them plenty of space to lie down and stretch out.
On many occasions I have picked up straying dogs, I can quickly get them off the road and secure them in the van and transport them to a vet to be scanned if they are not wearing a tag. On one occasion I spotted two large Rotties running down the road, I quickly grabbed a couple of leads and a handful of biscuits (Rottie's will sell their souls for a biscuit) I secured them in the van and took them to the vet to be scanned. They were chipped and the owner was found. Not too many people would have braved these two big beasties in their car.
I will always stop and pick up somebodies pet that has sadly been involved in an accident if I see it on the side of the road and take it to the local vet to be scanned so hopefully the owner can be found.
We provide a dog walking service to suit your requirements; in general we usually do a 30 minute walk. The dogs are normally kept on a lead (but can be let off with your permission to have a really good run), all dogs are walked separately from other client's dogs and have our undivided attention (they love it).
If you're finding it hard to get home at lunchtime to let your dog out or going to be working late, we can help by visiting your dog at a time that suits you and them. Our registered customers can call and arrange to have us visit their pet(s) at short notice, to cover for an unexpected delay, to let them out and feed them.
Puppy Care: We can visit them during the day while you're at work and let them out for their garden visit to continue their house training and feed them to maintain those all important meals at an early age.
Kitten Care: We can provide a fun packed visit to use up some of the endless energy they have, clean their litter tray and provide the next small meal and fresh water.
I have owned and loved cats for many years and they have taught me well their different ways and behaviors. On each visit we will ensure that your cats have fresh food and water and a clean litter tray, in addition to this we will spend time talking to and cuddling them (as long as they like to be picked up and cuddled)
House Care: This includes opening curtains in the morning and closing them in the evening; turning lights on and off and picking up the post and putting it out of sight.
Plant Care: I have worked in horticultural glass houses and I am more than happy to water house and garden plants.
Small Pet: We can clean cages, provide fresh bedding, food and water, cardboard tubes for Gerbils and Mice, and let Rabbits and Guinea Pigs into their day runs and tuck them up at night.
Wet Pet: OK just in case you were wondering this is fish, not the dog that just jumped in the river. We can feed, turn lights and pumps on and off as you do, and also clean filters and glass if necessary. I have kept fish for the last 18 years and in this time have encountered and treated most fish ailments.
Going away for a holiday or a long weekend break, we can visit your pet(s) to feed, clean and provide fresh water. We will also spend some time with them. This will reduce the stress that they feel without you as they remain in a familiar and comfortable environment. We will also if required pick up the post, water plants, open \ draw curtains as if you were there.
