"Holly" has now been re-homed
This little tortie cat was found stray behind the Chipping Sodbury quary near Yate Rocks, she was seen over a week or so ago visiting a bird table in the snow eating frozen bread. several attempts to catch her failed until her frail state and the cold made her too weak to run. she was taken in by an elderly couple and is now warm and eating well, but as they are in sheltered accomadation they can not keep her as much as they would like to.She is extreamly thin, the vet thinks she is about 1 year old and about half the weight she should be but apart from this is in good health. She is extreamly nervous at first but underneath those first nerves a very loving cat.
we think that she may be lost and we will poster the area, or maybe even sadly abandoned and in need of a new home.
If you think you know her or would like to offer her a permanent home please call 01454 854681

Ben a 6 year old long haired brown tabby cat, Ben is very nervous and disappeared from the Elmgrove Drive area of Yate on the 22nd December 2005. He is fairly new to the area having moved from London at the beginning of December. He lost his collar when he disappeared and is not chipped, his brother Sam also ran off the same day but has since returned. The 2 normally stayed close together so it is hoped that Ben is still in the vicinity of Elmgrove Drive.
