Phoenix Pet Care is based in Yate, South Gloucestershire, dedicated to helping you provide care for your animals when circumstances prevent you from doing what you normally do for them, whether it be letting them out during the day because you're unable to make it home, or looking after them while you're on holiday, we can offer a service to meet your needs.
Lynne has attended evening courses in Animal first aid and behaviour at the Animal Care Study Centre - Norton Radstock College and has had a variety of animals over the last 29 years including tropical and cold water fish, gerbil's, cats and dogs. In addition to this she has always looked after the family’s animals when they have gone away for the day or on holiday.
Lynne has supported The Moggery through donations and sponsored walks for the last 5 years. Lynne also carries out progress checks on a voluntary basis for The Moggery, for cats that are re-homed in this and the surrounding area.
These were our dogs Chester (front) & Bramble our two very loveable and naughty Rottweiler's enjoying their holiday on the beach.
In addition to these two munchkin's we have 3 cats which are all from rescue centres. 1 from The Moggery, 1 from Holly Hedge and 1 from Heart Rescue
This is Pudding affectionately known as "Fat Pud" because of his size we think he is in part Maine Coon, He was found straying with a rope around his neck why we don't know, he was so frightened of people it took The Moggery rescue centre a week to catch him. It only took one look at this gorgeous cat for me to fall in love with him and bring him home where he settled in very quickly. He is no longer afraid of anything or anyone.
This is Smokey who was rescued by Holly Hedge about 10 years ago. She was found straying in Long Ashton and had been in the rescue centre for 3 months when we found her there. She wasn't trying to sell herself as she hid under her bed at the back of her run. We coaxed her out and found this tiny blue grey cat. Smokey is a very gentle and loving cat and is everyone's friend, she's always the first to greet any new arrivals including Chester and Bramble (Bramble is the one next to her) who were actually smaller than Smokey when we brought them home as puppies in cat cages.
This is Mabel, she came from heart rescue and had been there since she was 5 months old, we adopted her at 9 months. She's put the fun back into the house since we lost Chester and Bramble and she hasn't stopped purring since she got here. She loves nothing more than to charge up and down the stairs and chase Pudding, which will do him some good as he needs to loose some weight. She just makes us giggle!.
During the last 29 years Lynne has dealt with many animal health problems including kidney problems, thyroid problems, heart murmurs, various growth related joint problems as well as the normal day to day problems animals can suffer from. Lynne has often been a knowledgeable source of information on pet care to friends, family and neighbours. So when you sign up for one of Phoenix's services you can be confident that you are getting someone who is fully understanding of pet care and a dedicated animal lover who will meet your pets needs. She will always give them her undivided attention and build a relationship with them. One of the crucial elements of the initial visit is to assess that you are happy with us, we are happy to take the job on and most importantly that your pet is happy with us.
